This Saturday afternoon the popular Clear Spring bluegrass band will engage in lively family music making and will accept cash donations for the Circle of Life cooperative preschool (non-profit). Enjoy fun roots music, meet young families and support education of the youngest. See flyer for more information.

A member of Circle of Life Preschool, and wife of Clear Spring band member states that fundraisers are critical for their school. Circle of Life Preschool is a cooperative preschool that relies on parent involvement to keep costs down for families by having them raise funds and fulfill duties normally performed by paid staff.

This will be a wonderful event for all ages. Beans in the Belfry is located in a 100 year old historic, restored church building nestled in downtown Brunswick. They have delicious food and specialty drinks along with a trunk full of costumnes and toys for the children. Clear Spring Bluegrass Band has played at many festivals and county fairs and has generously donated their time and telent. Suggested donation is $10 per adult. http:/frederickuu.org/circleoflife/

Jeff, thank you so much for bringing John Thomas and Mark Lysher with you today. The jazz was superb, John is a master on the saxophone and Mark really knows how to work the big brown bass.

While you were playing the drums, the little Cosgroves and their friends enjoyed playing toys. Sarah thank you so much for bringing them in, and your friends as well. How they have grown.

Jim took pictures and as promised, we are posting them on facebook to share – I don’t think you had a chance to see them. It looks like we’ll see you (hear you) next on Sunday, March 4!

We have added an old-fashioned stick-to-the-ribs breakfast that’s a favorite at the morning kitchen table for some of us.
